So, no, they aren't done. Well, they were, until I WALKED IN WET GRASS and THEY RAN LIKE NO TOMORROW GRR. Now I have to re-do them.
Anyway. This was just something I had always wanted to do, so I got a $10 pair of knock-off Vans from Hot Topic and did this. Lineart was done in about 45 mins for fire shoes, 30 mins for water (water had less lines) and color was done for both in about 90 mins each using the RoseArt washable amrkers that were at McWane during the camp-in. I had been planning to use better markers.... but I was bored and they were there and I had all night.
If anyone wants their own pair, send me the shoes and pay me $15-$25 depending on the complexity of the design!
Totally jking, but seriously.
And yes, I'm planning on finding another set of these markers/finding a sealant before I wear them in public again. I was just having low self-esteem issues when Mom said that even if they weren't washed out people would laugh at me because they don't match. STFU MOM GAWD.
Considering they're washable markers, I'd be sad if they were to disappear in the soapiness of... well, the wash. Unless you'll refuse to wear and/or wash them. 0-0 I'm very amused by the books that they're standing on. And the patterns are awesome. I'd love to try coloring on a pair of my (inexpensive) shoes. Or just give 'em to you.

Don't mind your mom. My mom does that stuff to me but I usually don't listen to her. Heh heh. Just do what you want!
Anyways, I think they looks fabulous, really! I can't see them too well but I can tell they're great in detail. Hopfully, you'll be able to buy some waterproof makers when you re-do them. And I hope the grass hasn't stained them!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
